Please describe your current real estate market.
Olivier de Chabot:
Today we have nearly 2,000 properties spread across France, with a portfolio made up of properties divided into several categories: urban, countryside, seaside, mountain, Castles and design. With an average house price of around $ 1 million, we see prices rising dramatically in popular areas, including the French Riviera and large cities like Paris. Prices in more rural areas are fairly stable at the moment.

Tell us about the types of properties in your market and which are the most popular.
ODC:
Although we sell properties in several categories, historically we are best known as chateau specialists, which are our most popular properties. We also sell many character houses full of history and charm.

What types of buyers do you work with? Are they mostly local, or mixed from other countries?
ODC:
Most of our buyers are predominantly local and French, but we also work with foreign buyers from the UK and the Netherlands. The makeup of our buyers has changed in recent years as we have focused on attracting buyers from Europe and neighboring countries. What are the most important trends in your market?
ODC:

ODC: Our history and our roots position us as a leader in the rural market, but the challenge we face in various popular areas such as the French Riviera, the Basque Coast and even the big cities is to access new activities, because these are areas where our competitors are present. strong.
