Kahoot! launch the Kahoot! add-on for Google Classroom

Millions of students and teachers around the world can now access Kahoot! easily with the Google Classroom add-on.

Oslo, Norway, August 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Kahoot!, the global learning and engagement platform company, today announced the launch of the Kahoot! add-on for Google Classroom, allowing teachers and learners around the world to discover, create, assign, and host interactive learning sessions without ever leaving Google Classroom. As an early access partner for Google Classroom add-ons, Kahoot! is one of the first digital learning platforms to be available as a Google Classroom add-on.

Administrators can configure the Kahoot! Add-on for schools in their district from Google Workspace Marketplace with just a few clicks. Once activated, teachers and students can access Kahoot! on any device in Google Classroom, without needing to navigate to an external website or use an additional login. Classroom add-ons are available to all Google Workspace for Education users with Teaching and Learning Upgrade or Google Workspace for Education Plus editions.

Through the add-on, teachers can search or create their own kahoots, as well as discover the millions of ready-to-use learning sessions on Kahoot!, which teachers can then assign to students to complete directly in Google Classroom. The Kahoot! EDU The offering for schools and school districts also gives educators access to a school library of kahoots, where they can find and share learning content with other teachers in the school or district.

This integration marks the latest collaboration from Kahoot! with Google, which began in 2019 when Kahoot! was selected to become a Google Partner for Educationfollowed by a collaboration to launch Google search practice issues and an integration with the Live Sharing feature coming soon to Google Meet.
