The most popular Christmas commercials of the year have been revealed by researchers, including campaigns from Aldi, Marks & Spencer and Tesco.

Seeing all the Christmas ads from the big brands is one of the highlights of the holiday season, but each year one surpasses the others in terms of resonating with the public.

To find out which one was best received by viewers in 2021, global research marketing agency Honcho used a sentiment analysis tool called TensiStrength.

Marks & Spencer’s “Percy Pigmas” commercial takes top spot, in which Spider-Man actor Tom Holland plays the iconic sweet mascot who comes to life after being struck by a fairy’s wand (Dawn French ).

It’s no wonder that animated video ranked number one, having garnered over 1.7 million views on YouTube.

Boots took second on the list with their “Bags of Joy” featuring Jenna Coleman, which includes a magical and seemingly endless bag of goodies.
