(NASDAQ: PZZA), in partnership with its franchise partner PJ Western Group, today announced its expansion into Germany, with the intention of opening 250 restaurants in the German market during over the next seven years. In May 2019, PJ Germany, in collaboration with PJ Western, acquired 13 existing locations from another pizzeria with plans to convert each location into a Papa John’s restaurant. The project was initially postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
